Eli has his first tooth. It is just peeking out today, but he doesn't seem to be in too much pain. He chews on his burp clothes all the time but still doesn't want anything to do with teethers or pacifiers. We are just getting back into our schedule from the trip to GA. I am trying to get the pictures uploaded now. The kids did great with the trip but I wish we could have stayed longer. Tom wasn't able to go, so it was great to get home to him but we had such a short visit there. Halloween was fun. The kids were dressed alike, kinda. Paige kept taking off parts of her outfit so she ended up nothing like she started out. She was a little intimidated so we only went to a few houses of people we knew in Mom and Dad's neighborhood. Still, she has enough candy to last her months and months.

Eli at 6 months

I haven't posted in a while because we have been so busy. Eli is almost 7 months old now, but had his 6 month checkup a few weeks ago. He was 26.75 in long, 18 lbs 1 oz. Definitely another little chunky monkey like his sister. He is on Stage 2 foods and is holding his own bottle these days. Not quite sitting up by himself yet, but so very cute. I will try to post pictures later maybe. Both the kids have gotten flu shots, but I have to take Eli back for a booster since it was his first one. Still trying to decide what to do about about the H1N1. We did not get to see Sarah as we had hoped when her first grading period ended. We miss her terribly and hope to see her soon.

Our little girl turned 2 yesterday. We just did a small cookout at the house with family. Unfortunately, Paige came down sick a few days ago and has a double ear infection, so she's been a little bit cranky. But still very lively and talking like you wouldn't believe. She had a great birthday, I think. We went to the doctor for her well-baby/ear infection on Thursday. She is 34" tall and weighs 27 lbs. Doc says she is doing great. Eli is getting cuter every day! He has started on rice cereal and some fruit in the mornings. Last time we weighed him at Mom's, he was around 16 pounds and counting. He goes back to the doctor in early August. I have posted some new pictures.

since I posted anything. I am working on new pictures and new videos. Here's the latest: We had Eli's tongue clipped at CHKD when he was 5 weeks. The whole thing took about 10 minutes in the office. Praise God we did not have to end up going to the hospital and having it done in the OR with anesthesia like the first doctor wanted us to. The folks at CHKD were awesome, and Eli is fully healed now. He is up to almost 10 1/2 pounds now and is doing great! Paige is talking a blue streak. She is taking swimming lessons at the YMCA and loves it! She has turned into quite the little climber around the house and is into EVERYTHING. But she's a good girl and is learning so much every day. Sarah is almost done with another year of school. Yeehaa!!! Hopefully she can come to visit soon and stay a while. We are all going to Kingsfest in July for 3 days so we are really looking forward to that. She's growing up so fast - won't be long before she's driving and th...

Sorry for the late post... Eli Lukas Infantino arrived on March 31, 2009 at 10:45 am. He shares his birthday with his sister Sarah!!! He was 7 pounds, 12 ounces; 20.5 inches; 9.9 Apgar. He is doing great, and so is everyone else. Tom took a week off after he was born, and we just stayed home with our kids. Mom and Dad have been such a great help, over here every day to help out with Paige since Tom has gone back to work. I am trying to get pictures and videos posted tonight...

Eli is STILL not here. We are getting close though. I have been to the hospital twice now; the first trip required three shots and a pill to stop the labor, and the second was just a couple hours of monitoring before just sending me home. I go back to the doctor tomorrow, and hopefully they will tell me if it happens again they'll just let me go since we are so close. This laying around all day is killing me. The nursery is all ready for him, and we are all ready for him. Just waiting on God to say the word!!! Sarah is in FL at DisneyWorld with Jimmy and Grandma, and her mom also went along with Hannah and her Nana. Tomorrow Sarah will be 14 - yikes!!! Hopefully she will be able to come for a visit when Eli finally arrives. Paige is doing fantastic. She understands everything we say, although she doesn't always DO what we say. Fat chance, right? Anyway, she is talking up a storm and learning at a tremendous pace. I'm interested to see what her reaction to Eli wil...

I know I have been terribly remiss in posting, but things have just gotten so busy! Go figure. Hopefully some time today I can post new pcitures. Anyway, Paige is growing like a weed and is talking up a storm. It's so neat how quickly she learns new things and new words. For whatever reason, she is really into Winnie the Pooh right now. Most days she doesn't even want to come out of her room; she just wants to sit on her bed and hold her Pooh and watch her Pooh movies. Weird! We have had her trundle bed set up for some time now. She did great with the transition, even from the first night. We are still waiting for the matching coverlet to come in so the top bed has Sarah's old quilt on it, but it still makes a great place for Paige and her daddy to watch movies and snuggle. Paige sleeps on the trundle. She loves her bed, and the room is so much bigger without the full bed. Sarah is doing great. She will be 14 on the 31st! Grandma is taking her to Disney World fo...
My little imitator

Just random thoughts about Paige... It's so funny and interesting to watch her play by herself and see what she chooses and how she manipulates it. We had noticed some time ago that she was imitating little things we do and we got a kick out of it. Now it seems like every day she is doing something else, without being taught, that she has seen us do. She loves to get the brush out of Tom's drawer in the bathroom and walk around the house 'brushing' her hair. After I brush her teeth at night, I have to give her the toothbrush and she spends a couple minutes biting it and mock-brushing. She has started wanting me to put lotion on her hands so she can rub her palms together. And just today I saw her on her hands and knees with a tissue 'wiping' the floor - when the dogs come in from a wet yard we wipe the water/mud off the floor with paper towels and cleaner. It kind of drove home the fact that our kids are watching and listening to everything we say and do,...
